Dell Duo Spinning Screen 10-inch Tablet / Netbook caught on video

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Sep 14, 2010 8:54 pm

During one of the presentations at IDF, a rep from Dell showed off a fancy new 10-inch tablet product codenamed Sparta with the retail shipping name of 'Duo'. It uses an Intel Atom dual-core processor and comes installed with Windows 7 Premium.

At first you may think it is just a pretty good looking red framed tablet computer, but as the video and discussion on stage proceeds, you can see that it also comes with a keyboard. That got the crowded pretty excited and rightfully so, I would say. Basically the screen lifts up and reveals a keyboard and then you just flip the screen around to use it like you would a netbook.

The presenter mentions that it has the freedom of a normal tablet, but also the productivity of a normal netbook or notebook computer. Pretty well spot on.
