Xbox 360 250GB Kinect bundle coming to Aussie gamers

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Sep 9, 2010 5:08 pm

The announcement of bundles from Microsoft with an Xbox 360 Slim and the Kinect system have been made in other countries like the US previously. Australian gamers know that the prices that people pay in other parts of the world can't merely be converted to get an idea of what a product will cost Down Under.

The Aussie retail machine has to be fed and often that means paying a lot more than what other countries have to fork over for the same gear. Microsoft has gone official today with pricing for the Xbox 360 Kinect bundle in Australia. The bundle will include a 250GB Xbox 360 and the Kinect kit for $549. The console is a glossy black unit, not the tired old white and will have integrated 802.11n WiFi like the new slim consoles offer.

The Kinect Sensor has a dedicated port on the rear of the console and will come with Kinect Adventures to get you started on motion control gaming. There will be tons of games on the market that will use Kinect before long. The official launch date for the bundle is set for November 18.
