Keyboards on your smartphone? Unnecessary. Touchscreens? So last year. It's time to let your mind start doing all of the work, and PLX Devices Inc. is here to help you do that with the XWave. This device, when paired with an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch "allows you to control your mind and the world around it."

When you combine the hardware with the free XWave app, you can train your brain to control attention, relaxation, and meditation levels. The app gives you different objectives to achieve this, and also allows users to connect with each other XWave users with XWave Music. Third party designers can even develop XWave apps with PLX's SDK.

"The human brain is the most powerful, complex thing in the universe, and for the first time, we're able to harness its amazing power and connect it to everyday technology," said Paul Lowchareonkul, Founder and CEO of PLX Devices Inc. "With the development of 3rd party apps, the potential for innovation is limitless."

The XWave will retail for $99.99, with preorders being taken now and shipping expected to begin in early October.
