Viewsonic ViewPad 10 gets felt up on film at IFA
IFAs going on in Germany bringing geeks all around the world to see the offerings on display. One of the product types that is big this year and at the show in force are tablets to compete with the iPad. The guys over at Netbooknews have got some hands-on time with the cool Viewsonic ViewPad 10 and filmed the fondling for us to peruse.

The ViewPad 10 runs Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit and Android 1.6 with some dual boot action. The guys note that the Android portion of the tablet hadn't been set up so they didn't get to see how well the Android aspect works. The tablet has an Intel Atom N455 processor with 1GB of RAM.
Storage is to either a 16GB SSD or a 32GB SSD. The graphics for the machine are Intel GMA 3150 and the tablet has a pair of USB ports and a microSD card reader. Other features include a SIM card slot, headphone port, mic, and mini VGA output. The machine sounds a lot more like a netbook than a traditional tablet to me.
