HP trots out Envy 14 Beats Edition notebook

HP adds evil looking Envy 14 Beats Edition to line

HP has whipped out several notebooks today and the coolest new offerings are in the Envy line of premium notebooks. HP has added a new Envy 14 Beats Edition. The Beats Edition has several unique features with the most notable being the Beats by Dr. Dre sound system that promises great audio for music and movie watching on the speaker system and via headphones.

The notebook is really good looking with a black brushed aluminum chassis with red LED accent lighting. The keyboard has a red backlight option for typing in the dark. The special edition also has a pair of Beats by Dr. Dre Solo headphones with Monster ControlTalk control as well.

 

Hardware options are wide ranging with a standard battery promising 6.5 hours of use and an extended battery good for 13 hours of use. The notebook can be fitted with a variety of Intel Core processors and ATI Radeon HD 5650 graphics. The Envy 14 Beats Edition is available right now and starts at $1,249.
