Thermaltake Jing Silent CPU Cooler released

By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: Aug 27, 2010 7:11 pm

TweakTown fans have been pretty excited for the release of the Thermaltake Jing CPU cooler ever since our cooler pro Chad got an early sneak peek at it around a month ago. It looks the wait is finally over as Thermaltake has officially announced the release of the Jing.

The Jing cooler gets its name from the Chinese word for "silence, " and back up that claim with a high performance cooler that has up to a 200W cooling capacity and a fan rated at just 16 dBA at 800 rpm for those that desire whisper-quiet cooling.

This level of silence is achieved with the thin fan enclosure that is open on all four sides, which greatly reduces noise. Silence does not inhibit performance though, as it traded blows with the big boys in Chad's testing. MSRP for the Thermaltake Jing is $59.99 USD.
