XFX Radeon HD 5970 Black Edition Limited is a Newegg exclusive

By: (more) | Video Cards News | Posted: Aug 25, 2010 8:00 pm

XFX is a brand that gamers will immediately recognize. The video card company made its name building some of the best performing factory overclocked NVIDIA video cards you can get your hands on. XFX also sells ATI video cards as well and has pulled the wraps off one of the coolest Radeon cards ever.

The video card is the Radeon HD 5970 Black Edition Limited. The video card has dual GPUs inside and a dual slot heat sink to keep everything cool when in use. The card has six mini-DisplayPort adapters and comes with enough adapters to turn those ports into other connectivity options as needed. Each of the cards is numbered.

The video card comes in a cool box that looks like a P90 assault rifle and includes a carry case as well. The card support all of the features that modern Radeon card offer like Eyefinity and more. It has 4GB of GDDR5 RAM and you can order it on Newegg right now for a bit under $1200. That price makes this the most expensive video card for gamers I have ever seen.
