iOS update to cure iPhone 3G sluggishness "coming soon"

Reportedly from the email of Steve Jobs himself

| Mobile Devices News | Posted: Aug 21, 2010 12:09 am

The big gripe with iOS4 has been that for iPhone 3G owners, it renders the phone slow and sluggish. Many owners even went back to iOS 3 to reverse the problem. Complaints have piled up since June, and recently a customer took his complaint to the big man himself: Steve Jobs.

After shooting an e-mail to the CEO himself, reportedly a short response came from Jobs stating "software update coming soon." Apple is not confirming the report or the e-mail, but the hope for 3G owners is that Jobs was referring to the iOS 4.1 update, which developers have already laid their hands on.
