Home security is a big deal for lots of people. We all l need to keep our families safe and protect the cool stuff we work so hard to buy. Swann Security makes all manner of security cameras and their gear and has announced a new security camera.




The OutbackCam is a rugged security camera that is inside an all-weather case and has an integrated DVR. The camera can take still shots or video in color or black and white. The camera resolution is 2MP.


The videos are stored in AVI format and the images are JPEG format. The camera also has 15 infrared lights on it that allow it to shoot images and video in darkness up to 32 feet from the camera. Other features include a motion activated shutter or timer and an internal LCD. The camera sells for $149.99 and is available now.
