Nexus One now the official Google developer phone

Available for developer goodness for $529

.Android developers are a little happier today as the Google Ion has been replaced by the Nexus One as the official developer phone. The developer model will ship with Android 2.1 but will have 2.2 ready to go shortly.

The developer phone is available from Google's developer site, which you have to have developer cred to access, for $529 USD and will run on the T-Mobile network is the US. The Nexus One will apparently be the same model that was recently available to consumers.
