Australia's own Mana Bar expanding to Syd, Melb and abroad

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Aug 5, 2010 10:44 am

The first video game bar in Australia, Mana Bar, opened its doors to the public in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane back in early March of this year and clearly it's been attracting big crowds with plans today coming out that the owners are expanding not only to Sydney and Melbourne, but also internationally.

"After only four months of being open, I can confirm that we will be expanding and opening up Mana Bars in metro Sydney and Melbourne, as well as internationally" said owner Guy "Yug" Blomberg earlier today.

"It's all kicking into gear within months ... very very very f***ing exciting. People like to drink cocktails and play video games, and now we get to prove that all across the world."

The concept behind Mana Bar is a new (and clearly successful) one and Australia is the only country so far to experience what it's all about.
