Razer updates Lachesis gaming mouse with more sensitivity

By: (more) | Peripherals News | Posted: Aug 4, 2010 3:04 pm

The Razer Lachesis was first spied years ago and had 4000 dpi sensitivity, which at the time was a lot of sensitivity. Today that 4000dpi mark is been surpassed. Razer has announced a new updated version of the Lachesis to replace the old one.

Exactly when the new Lachesis will ship is unknown, but it will sell for $79.99. The update includes a new 3.5G laser sensor with 5600dpi resolution. The mouse also has a new design and a customizable lighting system.

The mouse still has the 1000Hz ultrapolling and hyperesponse buttons. The new Lachesis has nine programmable buttons.
