Viper SmartStart app hits Android devices
I live in Texas where it is hotter than the surface of the sun for most of the summer. A remote start system lets you get your car nice and cool so you can actually touch the controls without being burned when you get in.

If you use an Android phone and want a remote start system the Viper SmartStart application is now available for Android devices. The application was previously only available for the iPhone and Blackberry handsets.
With the application installed and a compatible Viper remote start system the user can start the car right from their phone. The user can also lock and unlock the doors and pop the trunk. The app also alerts when the alarm system goes off.
