Apple tossed the Magic Trackpad onto the market this week brining gesture support to a desktop. I am not the target market for the thing, I am not a trackpad fan and would much prefer a mouse. That said, it might be cool for my iPad.

If you wondered if the beauty of the Apple Magic Trackpad industrial design extended to the inside, iFixit has tore the trackpad down. There are few parts inside the device, which is no surprise considering the small size.
The teardown will serve as a good reference tool if your Magic Trackpad ever breaks. You do need some odd tools to get into the device like a spudger (whatever that is).
