LG bringing Windows Phone 7 mobiles "by the end of the year"

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Jul 29, 2010 2:01 am

September is the goal for LG's first mobile device sporting Windows Phone 7 to be launched with more coming by the end of the year according to a company representative. Their first smartphone with the latest Microsoft mobile OS has seen a ton of leaks around the internet, so it's expected that device is pretty much ready to go.

Ken Hong, an LG representative in Seoul, stated that "we have a deep relationship with Microsoft so expect to have a couple by the end of this year." Hopefully this will provide a nice boost to LG's struggling mobile phone division, which has reported a 30.8 percent drop in sales revenue compared to numbers at the same time last year.
