Apple offers update 1.0 for Magic Trackpad and Multi-touch Trackpad

By: (more) | Peripherals News | Posted: Jul 28, 2010 3:04 pm

Yesterday marked the launch of the Apple Magic Trackpad for the first time. The device is a Bluetooth connecting trackpad very much like the trackpad on MacBook computers specifically for the desktop.

Apple has also released a new update for the Magic Trackpad and for the multi-touch trackpads on some MacBooks called update 1.0. The new update has all the software needed to operate the Magic Trackpad.

The update adds support for new gestures to the MacBook line with inertial scrolling and three-finger drag gesture support. The update can be downloaded now, but if using it with the Magic Trackpad be sure to connect the trackpad first.
