Dell Streak not coming in July, but pricing leaked: $299 with contract, $549 without

AT&T the carrier of choice for the Streak

Dell originally had the 5 inch Streak tablet/smartphone hybrid listed for release in "late July," but as that time gets here it's looking bleak for those looking forward to the device. A Dell spokesman told ComputerWorld that "I can say definitely that the Dell Streak won't go on sale in July," despite the Dell site still saying otherwise.

A blog post that has since been taken down by Dell did state that the Streak will be available for $299 USD with a contract with AT&T and $549 without. Dell and AT&T did not confirm these prices, but AT&T makes sense since Dell stated the Streak would run on a GSM network and have ruled out T-Mobile, which only leaves AT&T.
