Bugger the plans, you want an iPhone 4 outright? Here's the deal

With preparation for the launch of Apple's new iphone 4 down under being the talk of the town today, more pricing info has popped up online which gives those of you interested to buy outright something to smile over.

Many were anticipating typically inflated pricing for the new Apple smart phone tipping well beyond the 1K AUD mark for the 32GB model, but it turns out Apple has decided to slash $50 off this model and keeps it down to three figures at $999 AUD.

This price isn't reflected on Apple's site as yet, but multiple reputable sources have confirmed the $999 figure is rock solid. If it's the 8GB iPhone 3GS you're wanting outright, Apple's store does have this listed now for $719 AUD; bit hefty when for less than a few hundred more you can have the new-gen top dog iPhone 4 with significantly more storage space.

Word is circulating of the 16GB version (in black) being $859 outright. Again, when you're this close to the price of the 32GB model, if it's outright you want it makes more sense to try and reach up for the one on the pedestal.
