New PlayStation emulator with PSX4Droid 1.0 for Android lands on Android Market

PlayStation emulator on Android Market

| Mobile Devices News | Posted: Jul 26, 2010 10:06 pm

There were lots of old video games that I had a lot of fun playing on my original PlayStation console back in the day. Those old games can be enjoyed again on many devices including Android smartphones.

A new emulator has landed on the Android market called PSX4Droid. The maker says the app is for high-end devices, presumably that means you need some muscular hardware to run the emulator.

The app can be purchased for $5.99 right now and you need a PS BIOS file and ROMs to be able to play games. The graphics look about as I remember them on the console.
