Droid X rooted with no fear of eFuse

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Jul 23, 2010 2:29 am

When the whole "eFuse will brick your Droid X" fiasco sarted last week, I stated "Sorry modders, looks like you'll have to go somewhere else to have your fun. Or you could accept the challenge……" Well, Birdman and some of his rooting buddies over at Droid X Forums took the challenge and seem to have gotten around eFuse and rooted the Droid X. He's even been nice enough to give up the 12 step process so other owners can give it a go, and early reports are seeing some success. The threat of a reset still lingers though, so as always, tinker at your own risk.
