Netflix pushing hard into the streaming TV market

Netflix disc free PS3 streaming coming by October

| HT & Movies News | Posted: Jul 22, 2010 7:06 pm

I tried Netflix long ago for DVD rentals and ended up cancelling quickly because I never got the films I really wanted to see. Netflix is now making itself into more of a streaming service than a DVD rental firm, which is good news.

I think we can all agree that being able to stream the TV shows and films rather than having to wait for discs is a good thing. Netflix is now pushing hard into the TV streaming market with new shows coming on board and it is actively looking to make deals for other shows.

Netflix has also announced that it will be offering a disc free streaming solution for the PS3. CEO Reed Hastings has said that the disc free solution will be here by October.
