Kogan has released its new 6-inch E INK ebook reader to the Australian market today which comes pre-loaded with over 1,500 ebooks to keep you busy.

Like the majority of Kogan's product lineup, the biggest highlight is the price. At only $189 it looks to be a super buy. The unit uses a 16 level grayscale E Ink (800x600) screen and is powered by an Arm 9 Core (Samsung) processor. It has 64MB of DDR2 RAM and 2GB of built-in storage, weighing in at less than 230 grams and measuring less than 1cm thick.

The unit supports multiple formats and also has photo and music playback functions. It can sync with Adobe Digital Editions for managing eBook libraries and supports the majority of online book stores.

You can find Kogan's official announcement on the new 6-inch E INK reader at the source link. The official product page on Kogan's website shares full details on specifications.
