More news from the Apple conference included some tidbits that people worldwide have been waiting for. Steve Jobs confirmed that those waiting for the white version of the iPhone should not have to wait much longer, as he confirmed shipping should take place in July.

Jobs also nailed down July as the launch time for the iPhone 4 in 17 more countries. These countries are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. South Korea was supposed to be a part of this list but was not included.
