Free Remote Wipe to be offered by Windows Phone Live

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Jul 14, 2010 1:59 pm

If you're like me, you have "where the heck is my phone" moments far more often than you are willing to admit. There could also be times you want to share something from your phone but left it at home or at work. Microsoft is making remote access to your Windows Phone 7 device a lot easier with Windows Phone Live.

Windows Phone Live will be free to access for all of those with a Windows Phone 7 device and will allow users to remotely access their phone to View published media, look up windows Live calendars and contacts, exchange data like OneNote files, and user a feature called Find My Phone which allows you to map, ring, lock and erase your phone from the web. 25GB of online storage will also be available. Sounds like just the thing needed to help us forgetful types.
