Microsoft unveils Facebook integration for Outlook

If you have an email application on your computer, odds are its Outlook from Microsoft. Outlook is one of the most popular email programs around. Odds are most users also have Facebook and Microsoft has announced a new integration for Facebook and Outlook that will make lots of people happy.

Along with Facebook, integration Microsoft also added support for Windows Live Messenger within Outlook. The plug-in will be offered for Outlook 2003 and 2007. The integration allows Outlook to pull Facebook photos to go along with emails and profiles for those who send you messages.

 

Outlook can only pull data form Facebook. This means you can't update your status using Outlook. However, Microsoft says that feature is coming.
