Onkyo debuts Miffy branded netbook in Japan
Onkyo is a name most associated with home theater gear like amps to most people. In Japan, the company offers more than just home theater gear and has unveiled a netbook based on its C4 offering with a branded theme.
Japanese people have a fascination with animation, which is evidenced by the appeal of Hello Kitty and Gundam within the country. The Onkyo Miffy netbook has Miffy themes on the inside and has the cartoon rabbit on the lid as well.
The little netbook packs the same hardware you find in a normal C4 netbook including an Atom N450, 1GB of RAM, 160GB HDD, and a 10.1-inch LED backlit screen. The screen resolution is 1024 x 600 and the netbook has WiFi. Pricing and availability is unknown.
