ASRock P55 Extreme4 mainboard unveiled

ASRock makes all sorts of mainboards for enthusiasts and general computer users that take advantage of just about any platform and CPU option around. The company has announced its latest mainboard called the P55 Extreme4.

This new board uses the Intel P55 chipset and features support for SLI and CrossFire X. It supports all manner of Intel CPUs including the Core i7 and more. It has four DR3 DIMM slots, two PCI-E x16 slots, 3 PCI-e x1 slots, and dual PCI slots.

 

The board also has a pair of USB 3.0 ports along with six USB 2.0 ports and eSATA. The board supports RAM up to DDR3 2600+ speeds. One cool feature is the Combo Cooler Option allowing the user to put any LGA 775 or 1156 CPU cooler onto the board. Support for Premium Blu-ray audio, Overclocking, and Instant Boot are also offered.
