The big reason that people buy DSLR cameras is so that they can use lenses for whatever the photography need of the day may be. The cameras also have much better picture quality than the average point and shoot camera.

If you use a Canon DSLR camera and have a hankering to shoot some 3D images, but don't want to buy a new camera Loreo has your lens. The lens is called the Stereo Lens-in-a-cap and it works with APS-C format DSLRs with sensors 22-24mm in size. The maker says that covers most Canon DSLRs.

 

The lens sells for a surprisingly cheap $165 on Amazon. The thing is all kinds of ugly though. You can view the 3D images shot with the Loreo viewer and make them into other 3D formats if needed.
