Pixel Qi replacement screen launches

It's easier than most of us want to admit to break the screen on a netbook. If you use your netbook outdoors a lot you have probably noticed that the screen is hard to read as well.

If you are tired of straining to read you netbook or just want a screen easier to read in sunlight, the Pixel Qi display is now available as a DIY product. The screen will fit most 10.1-inch netbooks.

It sells for $275 and the replacement process is said to be very easy. The screen is very readable in the sun and promises to use less power than some other screens at the same time.
