Sony Vaio EA notebook gets embossed surface

Sony has a Signature collection of notebooks that add design features that you don't find on the more mundane notebooks the firm offers. Sony has unveiled a new EA Signature series notebook that has an embossed lid with an Arabesque design.

The design looks very girly to me, especially in the retina searing pink. You can also get the notebook in black or gold colors as well. The machine starts at $919.99 and has a 14-inch screen.

The notebook can be optioned with an Intel Core i3-350M, Core i5-520M, or Core i5-540M CPU. Storage in basic configs is to a 320GB 5400rpm HDD and optional 500GB 7200 rpm drives are available. RAM is up to 8GB and basic configurations get 4GB. A CD/DVD burner is stock and a Blu-ray player and Blu-ray burner are optional.
