SkypeKit allows developers to bring Skype to any device

Skype's taking another step towards being available on any mobile device you can think of. Today the new SkypeKit makes its debut and becomes available for download. Skyptkit is a development tool for programmers that will allow them to make Skype functions like voice and video calling and instant messaging available on any Linux based internet connected device or desktop app.
Developers can request an invite from Skype since this download is not officially "available to the public." The SDK is available to device makers now and will come to Windows and Mac developers "in the next few weeks." Check the source link for download and invite info.
