A rumor is circulating that the Nikon S1000pj digital camera is getting replaced and its replacement camera has a new trick up its sleeve. The original camera could project the images it shot into a large image size.

The new camera isn't named and the specs we don't know about. What we do know is that the camera will have a projector and that projector is said to be able to connect to a PC and be used as a normal projector.

That would mean that the camera could be used like a tiny pico projector. The replacement is expected to debut in August.
