ASRock unveils faster Intel Calpella powered HT nettops

Doing away with NVIDIA's ION this time around

ASRock has dished up a couple new nettops aimed at the home theater user which are based on Intel's Calpella platform, versus previous nettop models from the company which used NVIDIA's slower ION platform.

 

The new Core 100HT and Core 100HT/BD run Core i3 or i5 processors with Intel HD graphics, 4 to 8GB of dual channel DDR3 memory, 2.5-inch HDD or SSD, USB 3.0 support, 7.1 audio with THX TruStudio Pro support, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, gigabit Ethernet and DVD writer or Blu-ray (denoted by /BD in the model name).

The Core 100HT and 100HT/BD is 195mm wide, 70mm high and 186mm long. ASRock hasn't yet mentioned pricing on these.
