Nintendo unveils 3DS game console at E3, no glasses needed

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Jun 15, 2010 5:03 pm

Nintendo just minutes ago officially unveiled the much talked about 3DS portable game console during its E3 press conference in LA.

Soturu Iwata is on stage introducing the 3DS right now, which is able to produce flexible widths of 3D graphics without need for special glasses. Nintendo are pushing the new unit, that is backward compatibility with Nintendo DS series software, as being a device you can take on the road and experience 3D with ease and without spending too much money.

It has not only one, but two cameras, and you are even able to take photos using the device and see them in 3D - pretty cool. More to follow.
