3RD Space FPS Gaming Vest gets console compatibility at E3

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Jun 15, 2010 6:06 pm

At CES a few years ago, I had a chance to try out the 3RD Space Vest and it was cool. The vest simulates bullet hits and other strikes in games by inflating little air bladders inside the vest. The vest was only for PC gamers until E3 this week.

TN Games has announced its new 3RD Space Trigger. The device is a hardware adapter that allows the vest to work with compatible games on gaming consoles. The console system works with the trigger, software drivers, and compatible software.

The vest can communicate wirelessly or via USB and vests used on the PC will work on the console and vice versa. A complete Console Kit with the vest and trigger can be pre-ordered for $189 and the vest alone is $139.
