Paddle tablet packs netbook hardware

If you want a tablet that is more like a netbook without a keyboard the eviGroup Paddle may be for you. This thing is much thicker than the iPad, but offers the performance of a netbook with connectivity options too.

The Paddle has a 10.6-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 x 600. The machine has a HDD with 160GB of storage and uses a 1.6GHz Atom processor.

 

The tablet uses 1GB of RAM and has WiFi and Ethernet with optional 3G connectivity. The battery is swappable and the machine has VGA out. The OS is Windows 7 and the machine starts at 599 Euros.
