Thermaltake introduces V9 BlacX Edition with built-in HDD docking station
Thermaltake has added a nice touch to its existing V9 mid-tower chassis with the release of a new BlacX Edition. This is the first mid-tower on the market that includes a built-in dual-bay docking station for easy access to both 2.5 and 3.5-inch sized HDDs/SSDs.

Much of the case is unchanged from the original V9 except for this convenient additional feature nestled on top of the case. With that said, you do also get USB 3.0 support on the front I/O and there are pre-drilled holes at the rear for allocation of water cooling tubes.

In stock form, you get a 120mm 1000RPM blue-LED fan located at the front, a 120mm 1400RPM TurboFan at the rear and a large 230mm 800RPM Silent fan positioned at the top rear.

The internal design is a bit more pleasing on the eyes thanks to its all-black attire and tool-less installation of expansion cards, 5.25-inch and 3.5-inch devices.
Thermaltake aims to start selling the new BlacX Edition of the V9 in August at an MSRP of $99.
