It looks like Huawei is throwing their hat into the ever expanding "we've got a tablet coming" crowd with their S7 Android tablet. A press event has been scheduled for June 24th to officially announce the tablet, although the depth of the information coming at the event is still up in the air.

The S7 is expected to be a tablet with telephone capabilities via a Bluetooth headset, although it hasn't been released whether it will be tied to a specific carrier. The S7 will run the Android 2.1 OS, and boasts a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 7-inch (800 x 480) display, 2 USB ports, HDMI port, Micro SD card slot, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It even packs a stand to set it up on your desk.

Hopefully the press event will have this tablet coming soon; it would be nice to have a little more fire and less smoke coming out of the tablet world. With all of the noise that the Droid Incredible is making in the smartphone, seeing a tablet based around that CPU should be interesting.
