Video conferencing has been on TV for a while now, it seems like every show on the air today has video conferencing that they use at one point or another. Many businesses are using video conferencing to save money rather than flying people in for meetings.

LG and LifeSize have teamed up on the new LG Executive Video Conferencing System that was unveiled today. The system uses LifeSize's HD communications suite and LG hardware. The screen of the system is a 24-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution screen.

On top of that LCD is a 720p HD resolution webcam that can capture 30 frame per second video. The webcam also has a microphone array and premium speakers. The Executive Video conferencing System is going to ship in Q3 for $2,999.
