WD TV Live Plus HD media player gets Netflix streaming capability

Netflix streaming gets another new home

| HT & Movies News | Posted: Jun 9, 2010 3:04 pm

We have already talked about the slick WD TV Live HD Media player a few times. Last month WD announced that it was the first HD media player that was Windows 7 compatible. Today WD is announcing something much cooler than Windows 7 compatibility with the new TV Live Plus HD Media player.

WD has announced that the media player is now able to stream Netflix movies directly to your TV. Netflix is very busy getting its streaming capability into just about every device out there. I wish they would add more new release flicks to their streaming catalog.

The Plus in the name of the new device signifies that it can how stream Netflix. The device can also stream content from the web like YouTube, Pandora, and more. I wonder if this thing can stream Hulu, that's what I want on my big screen.
