Mad Catz ships new mice across the galaxy to Earth-wide stores

By: (more) | Peripherals News | Posted: Jun 9, 2010 8:27 am

You won't find it hard to spot one of these mice on the shelf. Mad Catz has just started shipping its R.A.T. 5 and 7 mice to stores worldwide which are clearly aimed at the enthusiast who's all for outrageously loud designs. These things look like they've been manufactured on the planet Cybertron.

They do come with some impressive features, though. There's a customizable weight system, 4000 DPI (R.A.T. 5) / 5600 DPI (R.A.T. 7) laser sensor and all metal frame used. Further to this, the pinkie grips are interchangeable, as are the palm rests (three of each) to help the user tweak more to his liking.

Pricing from Mad Catz on the R.A.T. 5 and 7 comes in at $69.99 and $99.99, respectively.
