Noctua Shows Off Prototype Coolers at Computex 2010

By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: Jun 9, 2010 7:56 am

COMPUTEX Taipei 2010 - Noctua had a well thought out booth at Computex this year that included a few prototype pieces and even some TweakTown propaganda.

I think everyone really wants to see the new upcoming stuff so we will start there. Noctua had a few prototype parts on display at Comptex 2010.

Another approach is to just use a bunch of heat pipes and let them take care of getting the heat from the processor to the cooling fins. Here we see a massive 7 heat pipe cooler.

These new cooler remind me of Noctua's early products but they are now able to be used with memory modules that are very tall.

The view from the top shows the 7 heatpipes and the new cooler fin design.

Cameron seems quite happy that Noctua chose to show the TweakTown logo in a couple of places at the booth and even used one of Chad's quotes from a review in a display.
