Maingear unveils new Quick Ship PCs

By: (more) | Computer Systems News | Posted: Jun 8, 2010 6:04 pm

It has been many years since I purchased a pre-built PC for myself. I have built my own for years now. I did help my dad order a basic computer a year or so back and it seemed like it took forever to get here. When an enthusiast orders a PC that is customized the wait can stretch into weeks.

Maingear has announced three new PCs that come in Quick Ship varieties. The machines include the X-cube, the Vybe, and the F131. The Vybe can be had with Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 CPUs, up to 2TB of storage and up to 8GB of RAM starting at $1099. The Vybe can be ordered with ATI HD graphics, AMD Phenom II X6, and more. The machine starts at up to $798.

The F131 will be offered as well with NVIDIA or ATI graphics, Core i5 and i7 CPU options, and up to 16GB of RAM. The F131 starts at $1269. The machines will all ship within 72 hours of the order being placed.
