Pandigital Novel eReader lands at Kohl's for more than MSRP

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Jun 7, 2010 6:04 pm

I think most of us typically expect to pay under MSRP for devices. Most gadgets are tagged with an MSRP by the manufacturer and when the product actually hits market, the retailer discounts the price to some extent or at least sells for MSRP.

Pandigital unveiled its Novel eReader about a week ago. The device has a 7-inch color LCD, Android, and WiFi. The Novel measures 7.65" x 5.5" x 0.75" and weighs about a pound. When the Novel was unveiled, the MSRP was $199.99.

The device has landed at Kohl's of all places for $259.99 making it about $60 more than MSRP. You also have to pay shipping on the smallish device weighing under a pound to the tune of $22.95.
