ASUS Eee PC 1015T AMD powered netbook spotted on display

Tucked away at the back of ASUS' booth was a pre-release version of their upcoming Eee PC 1015T which the folks at Engadget got some brief hands-on time with.

 

 

This particular unit is said to be AMD based using one of AMD's V105 1.2GHz processors. It has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit (1024x600) display and comes with options for up to 4GB of RAM, 250 or 320GB HDD (plus 500GB of web storage), has Radeon HD 4200 IGP, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, optional Bluetooth 3.0 and a 6-cell battery giving up to 6 hours of use. The unit is also said to include USB 3.0 connectivity and will come in color options of black, white, red and blue.

 

 

No word on when ASUS plans to release the Eee PC 1015T to market or if the aforementioned specs will stay consistent for th e final release.
