Sanyo DMX-CA100 camcorder unveiled

Waterproof camcorder records 1080p underwater

Sanyo has been making cameras in its Xacti line for years now. The camcorders are small and compact and take both video and still shots. Sanyo has announced its latest camera in the Xacti line called the DMX-CA100.

The new camera is set to ship in June at an undisclosed price. The camera is the first waterproof full HD camera on the market. It can record full 1080p HD video under water at up to three meters in depth.

 

The camera can also shoot still shots at 14MP resolution and records video in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 resolution. The camera will be offered in black, yellow, or pink colors.
