Vroom Vroom, Team revs up new USB 3.0 ext. 2.5-inch HDD

Team Group will be displaying a new type of TP series external hard drive at Computex next week. It won't be hard to miss when you look at the boldened, unique external design and colour scheme :-

This is the TP1023. And yes, its design was inspired by a certain super car manufacturer. Might be an eye sore for many, but if its sports/super cars you dream about all day every day then i'm sure you'd be very proud of having this piece of kit sitting on your desk.

The TP1023 is designed to be shock proof with a unique hard drive suspension system and it surpassed the industrial specification for shock proof designs by a good margin in testing. The unit is USB 3.0 ready, making it worthy of its super car styling and is of course backward compatible with USB 2.0.

Team will be selling the TP1023 in capacities of 500GB, 640GB, 750GB and 1TB. For further details, you can read the official announcement here.
