With all of the new touchscreen based smartphones and tablets coming out, some sites are still not optimized for this technology. Browsing some of these sites can be a hassle. Taptu is trying to ease some of your internet browsing frustrations with their Touch Web Directory, a search device to help users find "touch friendly web" sites that are optimized for touchscreens.

Taptu allows a user to search by featured touch sites and by category. There are 19 categories and 135 subcategories including Sports, Social, News, Entertainment, and more. It also allows sharing of content via social networking tools like Facebook and Twitter, and allows a small preview of sites before visiting them. This looks to be a great way to both discover new sites and take a fresh look at old favorites.

To give this a try on your favorite mobile device, visit http://www.Taptu.com from your iPhone, Android, or Windows Mobile powered device and give it a whirl.
