Sceptre launches new 24-inch LED HDTV

Sceptre has been peddling some nice and well priced LCD HDTVs for a while not. The company has announced a new set today that is ultra slim and sports LED backlighting for better image quality and less power consumption.

The set has SRS TruSurround HD to process up to 6.1 channels of sound on a pair of stereo speakers. The contrast ratio for the set is dynamic 1,000,000:1 with a panel response time of 5ms. The screen aspect ratio is 16:9 and the resolution is 1080p.

 

The monitor is 0.69 inches at its thinnest point and 1.6-inches at its thickest point. Other features include dual HDMI ports, a USB port, and the screen can be used for a PC monitor with an adapter. The set will sell in retail stores and online for $399.
