MacBook sends audio and video out over Mini DisplayPort
The cheapest MacBook in the land got an update this week that brought with it new CPUs and graphics for the machine. There was also one significant feature that wasn't so obvious at first glance added to the machine.

MacRumors reports that the MacBook now has the capability of sending both audio and video out over the Mini DisplayPort. That means a buyer using the new MacBook can connect the notebook to their HDMI equipped TV using an available adapter.
Right now, there isn't a list of adapters supporting the feature offered, but that should come soon. The sub-$1000 MacBook will make for a decent HTPC machine with this new feature.
